Following the recent referendum vote for the UK to leave the European Union, visa-free travel is still in place for citizens of member states of the European Union, including to and from the UK. Any changes to visa-free travel are unlikely to take place in the immediate future.
Delegates must be registered and have paid in full for the event before applying for a VISA letter. Invitation letters can be requested during the registration process, providing Passport number and Country of Issue.
The official language of the Congress is English.
You do not need to be registered to submit an abstract. Presenters whose abstracts have been accepted will need to register.

Accompanying Person tickets can be purchased during the registration process.
Please note that children between 5-17 years old need an Accompanying Person ticket to attend the social events. Children under 5 years old can attend for free.
The Accompanying Person ticket includes:
- Admission to Opening Ceremony & Welcome Reception on Sunday 17th June
- Admission to President’s Reception on Monday 18th June
- Half-day Vintage Red Bus & Holyroodhouse Palace Tour - slot to be booked during the registration process.

Yes, presenters will need to attend the Congress. Only the abstracts of registered participants will be approved and published in the scientific programme.
In the United Kingdom, the currency is the GBP pound sterling (£). Foreign currencies can be exchanged for GBP at banks, travel agencies and Post Offices, as well as at Edinburgh’s airport and major train stations. For more information click here.

If you are not a member and would like to register as a Postgraduate student, please select the Full Congress: Non Member fee on the registration form; you will need to provide a letter from the head of your department confirming your student status.
The postgraduate student registration allows access to the Postgraduate Course: “Evidence-based Class II treatment” led by Prof Sabine Ruf on Sunday 17th June for an additional fee, as well as 1 complimentary ticket to attend the Postgraduate Disco Party on Tuesday 19th June.
